Edano’s condolence visit for President Chirac
On the morning of October 3, Yukio Edano, Leader of the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan (CDP), visited the Embassy of France to sign the book of condolence for former President Jacques Chirac.
The French Ambassador to Japan H.E. Laurent Pick was also present, and the two exchanged opinions on the results of the Upper House election and the expected role of the CDP.
